Greater Merseyside Mentor of the Year Award 2010

This year, Volunteer Centre Sefton and the Greater Merseyside Mentoring & Befriending Network are running the Greater Merseyside Mentor of the Year Award.

Aims of the Award
- To reward volunteers.
- To raise the profile of Mentoring & Befriending in Greater Merseyside
- To celebrate the diversity in Mentoring & Befriending opportunities within Greater Merseyside 

Who is Eligible to Enter?
- Anyone who volunteers as a Mentor or Befriender and lives and/or volunteers in Greater Merseyside
- Nominees must have volunteered within the nominating organisation for at least 3 months.

Award Categories
1. Greater Merseyside Young Mentor of the Year (16-25 years old).
2. Greater Merseyside Young Befriender of the Year (16-25 years old).
3. Greater Merseyside Mentor of the Year (26+ years old).
4. Greater Merseyside Befriender of the Year (26+ years old). 

Individuals should be nominated for the positive difference they have made in their role as a mentor or Befriender. Individuals could also be nominated for their contribution to the support or development of a mentoring or befriending programme.

Winners and their nominators will be invited to recieve their award at Volunteer Centre Sefton's Celebration Event  on Thursday the 3rd of June at Bootle Town Hall.
