Task Groups
Sefton LINk asked individuals and groups across Sefton what their concerns were across health and adult social care. To tackle the issues and ensure that local people’s needs and concerns are addressed, ’Task Groups’ have been set up to look at the issues from a patient/ carer viewpoint. Each task group has a ‘champion’ who is a member from the steering group and will make sure everyone who wants to get involved can. Sefton LINk Steering Group
Every November, Sefton LINk members get the opportunity to nominate themselves for election onto the Sefton LINk Steering Group. The group currently represent the wider membership and are more involved in the running of the LINk. Visits Team
The Visits Team volunteers will undertake visits to service provider premises (e.g. Hospital Wards/Care Homes) on behalf of the LINk. The role of the Visits team members is important as they will conduct any “formal” visits/inspections on request from LINk Steering Group. Members activities
When members attend a meeting or an event on behalf of Sefton LINk, they then feedback to the wider membership with notes or formal reports. This can include any meetings with organisation or notes from discussion forums. Sefton LINk support fully support and encourage members Work Plan
This plan highlights any issues raised by the Sefton LINk Task Groups and discusses key areas of work, potential benefits for patients and overall outcomes from the group activities.
